Starting on Nevsky Prospect, the main thoroughfare of St. Petersburg which splits the city centre in two, we will make our way to the ensemble of the St.Isaac’s Square and its magnificent cathedral of the same name.  Next, upon reaching Teatralnaya Square, home to the world famous Mariinsky Theatre and Conservatory of St.Petersburg, we will pass through the Sailors’ Quarter before making a stop in front of the splendid Church of St Nicholas. Then, crossing the widest part of the river Neva will take us to the largest island of the ‘Venice of the North’ – Vasilievsky Island. Driving along the embankment we will see The Academy of Fine Arts, The Academy of Sciences, The University of St.Petersburg and The Kunstkamera Museum, finally stopping in one of the most scenic spots of the city, Strelka, famous for its picturesque architecture and considered to be the best place for taking photos of St. Petersburg.

During this tour it would be unimaginable not to visit the birthplace of this city founded by Peter the Great, the St. Peter and Paul Fortress. Here you will find yourself taken back to the early 18th century and will visit the Pantheon of the Romanov dynasty, the gorgeous St. Peter and Paul cathedral. Next we will go to the famous Cruiser Aurora whose guns announced the start of the October Revolution and then, through the Field of Mars square of Fine arts we will reach one of the most beautiful places of St.Petersburg – the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood.
